course evaluation comments

"Professor Stalion is very understanding and someone to whom I feel like I could chat with about anything and she would be

there for me. It is evident that professor Stalion cares for all her students and their success in the future. I also found her real–

world, work examples to be super useful for the success of better understanding concepts."

"I love Sam Stalion so much. She is so encouraging and finds examples of campaigns that are actually helpful and interesting.

Class discussion can be a bit daunting, but it is so worth it to get her feedback. She is a very genuine and caring instructor."

"The part I liked most about the course was that the material we learned applies to the real–world problems and can carry on throughout my career and life. I liked that this instructor

wanted to see us learn and made the material very engaging."

"I LOVED THIS CLASS! I learned a lot of practical information about the advertising industry that I have already applied to my other

coursework. Sam also cares a lot about our future goals and is often checking in on her students asking how interviews went,

scholarships, etc. and is always extending herself if anybody needs help or advice. I would suggest this class to anybody and have

thoroughly enjoyed coming to class."

"For this course, I loved the in–class discussions. My instructor really tried to encourage these discussions by either contributing personal stories that related to the material, or gave

very clear in–depth questions to share within smaller groups. I also throughout the in–class activities were engaging and guest speakers because it forced you to contribute since there

wasn't any "right" or "wrong" answer. Unlike other courses, this course really connected to me as a student, peer, and future employer. I could tell the material was well–researched and

our feedback was clearly taken into consideration. I don't usually like speaking in class, but I really enjoyed speaking in this course and even got close with the people I sat next to."

"Samantha was a great professor and made discussions interesting and engaging. She brought personal experience and

insight into our topics and presented them in an entertaining way. I really enjoyed the topics we learned and how open the

discussion environment was."

"Professor Stalion is extremely available and kind. She is prompt on grading and I really enjoyed her as a professor."

"I liked how this course challenged me to understand more about myself as a professional and a leader. I think more classes should work internally with students rather than trying to

drill concepts for memorization."

"Sam was so inspiring and taught us a lot about ourselves and being a good leader. She cared about our perspective and gave us a lot of

time to discuss and learn from each other."
